Non-Altec cone with rag surround?
I'm not sure that you could tell the difference between the original 20 ohm coils and new 16 ohm coils by the DCR, would be interesting to know the nitty gritty in that respect.Quote:

Agreed.. I've seen a lot of 20 ohm speakers read between 10-12 ohm...
Someone should probably tell those guys bidding $1200 on them!
Is the vent a cooling thing for the VC?
Yes, and those early woofers that used 1 piece cones with paper surrounds used a dust cap with a smaller vent than we're used to seeing on the later style woofers.Quote:
