I hope GPA is ok.

I hope Billy and them are okay after the Tornadoes.

Looks like GPA is probably safely north enough to escape anything major.(referring to the major tornado that went through Moore, GPA is located north of that path)

But, you know at least some of Bill's people will be directly connected/affected by this tragedy.

I have seen images in detail of damage that can only be caused by wind speeds that must have approached the limits of what a tornado is capable of, vehicles that were so heavily blasted with debris that the paint was entirely stripped off one side and not a square inch was left unperforated or unpummeled. Utterly shocking devastation, and nowhere to hide. The pictures and my imagination have already taken me closer than i ever want to be.

Hearing the news on the drive home today that the storms went as far as south OK City, and I was thinking "My God, I hope Bill and Steve and everyone there is ok...."
It's awful what has happened there, and I hope that some of the relief money can go to building more storm cellars for everyone in that area. If I lived out there, I'd be digging one for sure.

I saw one vehicle I couldn't even tell what it was.. Car? Truck? A-bombs have nothing on tornadoes of that magnitude.

saw one video on cbs where some commentators said that some winds were in excess of 200 mph.

which would be the fastest non human created winds thus far measured (by humans).

It was probably an EF-5 tornado.. The most powerful tornado on earth..

They claimed it was at the end of the highest F5 scale. So pretty much the most powerful ever.

1-1/2 miles wide and on the ground for 50 minutes in a suburban area. Incomprehensable.

I talked to Bill a few days after the storm about some reconing. He didn't mention anything was wrong.
