OT: instant email updates of threads

Ever since the last 'upgrade' I get batches of updates that are way out of date and no 'instant' ones even though I have the proper selection in 'settings'. For as long as I can remember, getting them has been 'spotty' at best, but this is ridiculous, so wondering if anyone else is having the same problem.

Thanks, I've been having so many niggling problems with yahoo mail's latest 'upgrade' I was beginning to wonder if it was the two not playing nice.

I'd pass on updates from anywhere. Bookmark and check at your leisure. You can scroll back to every topic.

My problem is I have very little leisure time for forums these days, so must pick n' choose what to follow, maybe respond to.

Yeah I have the same problem.. I think it is Hostboard with all the new server upgrades,etc... I just received 113 new posts/pm's from Hostboard with some quite old. :eek2:

Update: The new server had a bottle neck, and when cleared, they were all sent at once.. And for the reason that some of these notifications are a month old and are duplicates...
