we're all showing off our sigs (well Laurie and Terry are anyway hehe).. let me introduce you to my first ever attempt at a sig.. I did it this afternoon, and its pretty dodgy being my first attempt lol Buuut I'm proud I actually made something, so there [img]tongue.gif[/img] I didnt really have much creativity, I was just focusing on actually being able to make a sig lol So here it is.. and thanks Terry for her 'cutting out images' and google searching advice!!

Can you impart some more of your sig making wisdom upon me.. see how the picture on the left.. like obviously the picture was rectangular so I had to cut it out that way along the bottom edge.. but then there's just like a straight edge that looks really out of place (do u know what I am talking about [img]confused.gif[/img] ROTF) how can I soften that straight edge so it blends in with the rest of the background and doesnt looks so crap? LOL

I usually get rid of the straight lines by either gently erasing them or by blending them in. What application are you using btw? Check it out to see if there are and erase, blend or smudge functions on it.

Terry I am using this thing that came with computer called 'Microsoft Picture It' I found the blend/smudge/fade function, thanks! [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
And look.. its becoming an obessesion.. I cant stop making sigs LOL

Shame about the text though. Did it look shite before or after you saved it as a jpeg? Sometimes it's clearer and better quality if you save files as gif's.

I didnt know I had Microsoft Picture It until recently.. it was just one of those things that came with my computer.. it was hidden amongst all the other Microsoft files that came on this computer!
The 'excel issue' - Ive got a test on Microsoft Excel tomorrow and I couldnt work out the VLOOKUP function and it was stressssing me (but now Im beyong the point of caring LOL) so I posted to see if anyone knew how to do it [img]smile.gif[/img]
Terry the text looked dodgy coz I couldnt fit in the lyrics I wanted nicely.. I couldnt arrange them.. it just looked dumb LOL But I'll keep the jpeg/gif quality thing in mind, oh wise sig making mentor ;-)
Oh and its completely turning in to an obsession - sig #3.. Dan went a bit grainy though [img]confused.gif[/img] lol and he didnt fade nicely either *shakes fist at Dan* gggrrr!! LOL
