Are these times pretty good for what i have done? What are the times of some of you guys with similar mods?
-
Times look pretty good man. Nice 60ft!
What is the extent of your water inj system, and have you done any datalogging or have dyno results with it?
-
Looks great to me, and i bet it was a good race to watch as well!

The water injection sprays directly into the intake manifold and it does it when i reach 6psi.
I have never had the car dyno tuned but i hope to in the near future.
Yeah that particular race was against a LT1 Camaro with exhaust and running on drag radials.
We were pretty much side by side the whole way down the track.

NICE!!!!
That is the fastest time I've seen an SC/LS do! 13.9 is the best I've seen so far...
I am having horrible traction problems... your 60 foot is awesome. I'm at 9psi, best time of 14.5 at 98... 9psi - you're running 11psi... hmmm.... exact same setup as you, but a way worse time.... same HP (or close, I have 193 at the wheels)
I'm pulling my hair out trying to get to 13's... congrats to you!!
How are you launching???
What tire pressure are you running (also noted that your run 16's - I'm on Toyo 15's)
Maybe I need to up the boost given the cooler intake temps w/ water injection...
Check out www.ranneypeimer.com/acura (and I just added water injection also)
(My intake temps are down about 75 degrees with water injection)

Great job.
That is a spectacular time for a LS.

Well i was having horrible traction problems most of the night when i was running. I probably averaged a 2.2 60ft for most of the night. I kept over revving off the line. On this particular run i launched at about 2000rpm and eased into the gas. I wheel hopped about half way through first and then it caught traction and i managed to pull that 2.06 60ft.
I was running somewhere around 20lbs of pressure in the front tires and 35lbs in the rear. BTW the tempature was about 50 degrees so im sure that helped me some.
Before i added the water injection and up the boost to 11psi, i was running 9psi and i ran a 14.33 in the 1/4 and 9.25 in the 1/8.
Adding more boost wouldnt be a bad idea in your case.... it worked for me.
I forgot to mention that i have a 65mm throttle body too but i dont think that made that big of a difference.
Thanks for the Posts!!

that is good 60 feet time, I only manage to have 2.362
I guess I would have to....
Practice, Practice and PRACTICE!!

Off to the dyno tommorow.... more fuel tuning... I'm gonna beat this excellent time
But - that 60' is NASTY... My best is 2.267... argh.

Congrats!!! And welcome to the 13 second club. I guess I have been beaten as the fastest JRSC LS and at my own track even!
I always had traction problems running at fayetteville. So if you got a 2.06 on street tires there, you are way ahead of the game. My best 60ft there on street tires was a 2.3. I had to go to drag radial to get close to a 2.0. How long have you been racing in Fayetteville? I was the only JRSC there for the last 3 years.
My best run at 13.9 was also on a 50 degree day at Fayetteville. Go to Rockingham and you will easilly break 100mph. I always had 1mph higher trap speed there.
What pulleys are you using to obtain 11psi?
Good luck and keep us informed.
