Massive gas leak outta my dx(winter beater) right above my gas tank had to drop it down a lil and replace about 1.5 foot of hose. hopefully i see a great gain in gas mileage... like close to my 35mpg rather than 10-15 mpg!! whew did that ever suck

yeah no shit we we're rather careful whist pulling the tank down... we were kinda working in a puddle of gas... i had to give my dad the inhallents speech... drugs are bad m'kay, glad i got that fixed heh

lol, thats how i got my 91 hatch so cheap from the original owner, bad gas leak and our sales dept was only gonna give him $300 trade in, i bought it for $400 and spent 20 minutes fixing it.....lol

I just replaced my tank this past weekend. It was leaking out the rear seam. before I would start it sometimes if i noticed it was leaking really bad, i would take the e-brake off and try to move the car a few feet away from my spot before starting it, lol yes i could smell fumes that bad. Thankfully my friends shop just got a parts civic...old tank in great condtion, sanded down and coated, with me helping on install...20 bucks hehe.
