Hello, I drive a 90 Civic HB (CX in Canada). The daytime running light feature comes on when the parking brake is released. This turns the headlights on 100% (I can see no difference between the DRL and when the headlight switch is turned on full) and ALL the corner/parking lights on too.
I'd like to control these manually as I find it annoying to have them on all the time. I've looked at the fuses under the dash and don't see one labelled DRL or anything like that, so I was wondering if there's any 'simple' way to disable the DRLs.
I know it's mandated in Canada to have DRLs, but I see so many 88-89 Civics out there without their headlights on so I doubt it will be a problem. Any help would be great. Thank you. http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif

ack... never mind! sorry!
i must be blind and or dumb. i looked again and found fuse #16 called 'running light'... took it out.. and bingo! no more annoying headlights ON all the time! cooool stuff.
