This mirror came out of a late 90s model chevy s-10 and it has nifty maplights that are pretty bright and each come with a switch to turn on a light. I bought it off Ebay for like 15 bucks and then had to buy some glue to put it on the windshield and whalah! May my car be the 1st civic to have maplights? Tell me what you guys think...

Cool, but the wires and stock mounts for the mirror are an eyesore. some creative plastic moldings could compleat it nicely. A+ for niftyness

Thanks, actually that missing plastic piece i have laying around, Im going to get it painted black as well as the piece thats already mounted on the car..Whats cool about the
stock oem plastic piece is that there is already a hole in the back you can't see that i can run my wire through(the hole is there for the stock mirror brace)

You may be able to get some wire hideing molding at a hardware store. its used to run telephone wire or ethernet cable along walls its self sticky and you maby be able to get some that looks slick if you want to hide the wire

My overhead light seens to do a good job with anything like that, plus I have a 10 disc changer so I never have that cd switching problem.

hmm...the wire going to the front looks bad
i think that would be the wrong combo...
