Hello all,
Well i got a race this sunday, but I also have this odd little problem. I have this odd rumbling/wobbeling sound comming from what seems to be one of the right front corner of my car. Goin straight you can sorta hear it, and when you hit a bend it gets pretty loud. We move the tires around to see if it was tires, nope. I'm pretty sure the ball joints are fine (i know that sound, and my one is new). CV joints are still intact. But when i jacked my car up on the right and shook the wheel it seemed steady. But on the left side i tired the same just to see, well it had a realllllllyy tiny amount of play (and it was tightend down) So i took it off, all of the bolts seems tight, thou the brake disc seemed to have a tiny bit of play, should it be like this? My other theory is a bad wheel bearing but i dunno how to check one of those. I don't expect really anyone to answer this its pretty in depth (hopefully maybe next week my shop can look at it) but right now if ANYONE has personal experiences they would like to share please do, and you will get a cookie...(sorry i can't do that, course maybe ami will send you a kiss or something http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif )
Thanks-Chris

It could still be the CV joint. My CV joint was intack but the inside of the boot one of the three gears was broke. You can slip the boot off and check out the gears inside. A lot of grease in there, so make sure its full and that you have new clamps when you put the boot back on. It might be worth a look.
