Drop in boost

Guys,
This weekend i took off my home made headers and replaced it with a the stock manifold. Now when i get to 7500 rmp the boost starts dropping from 9 to 8 7 even 6 psi. Could this mean there is more torque on the pulley with the stock piece? Can i assume i am making more power with the stock headers? Or is it a exhaust flow problem?

yes i know if the belt was not slipping before why would it slip now.

With vibration, it will losen over time.
