Hey guys and girls I finally got my setup on my car. I took lots of pics, and will have them posted sometime later this week. I got tokico blues, and eibach sportlines. Damn they dropped that car low as shit. My muffler scrapes the ground sometimes. Anyone know any pointers on how to stop this. I will take photos and put them on here for all your comments. Also when I put my 17's back on will they rub. I know I will have to roll the wheel well's. Can I do this in the front too. I am just worried I dropped it to much, and I know "marked" as you say, you can never go too low. Also I need to get a alignment, they arent going to tell me I need a camber kit are they? It dropped it 1.7 Front, 1.5 Rear. Anyone know. Thanks, and I'll post them as soon as I get a chance. It looks GOOD......

if you lower it less than 2" you don't need camber kits. however, they will probably call your attention to the negative camber. but 1.7" really isn't enough to call for camber kits.
as for your exhaust, go to your local muffler shop and tell them you need different rubbers to hang the exhaust. there are some smaller ones avalible that will bring the exhaust up off the ground.
i agree with Marked http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/biggrin.gif.i say slam it to the ground...no finger space between tire and wheel well. except for people with no patience. you need to drive a little slower when it comes to speed bumps, driveways, and potholes. for me, personally, that is the fun part http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/wink.gif. i'm that "bitch" that holds up traffic pulling into parking lots...and if you honk i'll slow my roll to 1 mph...muhaahaaha

Ami, you know about how much the lower rubber hanging things cost. I have see the pics of yours and yours is low too. When I put the 17's on will this raise the muffler from the ground too. Now I am running the stock 14's. Just curious as to how much coin the rubber hangers cost. Do you replace them all the way around. Thanks. Mike.

Does anyone else have a problem with their exhaust rattling? When I lowered my car, The exhaust system all of a sudden started rattling against something (most likely part of the suspension). Doesn't happen all the time, but if the car shudders or is warming up, it shakes the exhaust a little... Sounds like it's coming from the rear of the car. I imagine I'll try to get some new rubber widgits for the hangers...

well, after 5 years of bugging them and a several thousand dollars spent later, i get a lot of the small parts for next to nothing http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/wink.gif i don't even think they charged me for the rubbers.
my exhaust is REALLY low to the ground. even more so than in the pics. but that's a combo of the way they made the exhaust and my WW bumper pushing it lower. the new "rubbers" seemed to help.
my best advice is to call around. mine actually came from the tire shop becuase they also do mufflers and custom exhausts.
some good advice in general is to get in good with a tire shop and a parts/junkyard. if you go there enough (bug the hell outta them) they start to learn your name...then your face...and finally your car. next thing you know, they got what ya need and they hook you up http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
