Removing resonator box

There are some hidden bolts. I got mine out by removing the two screws that hold the bumper to the wheel well (right by the tire). That allowed me to drop the bumper (pull down on it since all the other bolts are still in place) enough to see the hidden resonator box bolts..I saw it by sitting down, yeah on the road, staring at the corner lights, and pulling down on one hand with the bumper and peering in the gap between fender/bumper on the side..then I took out my turn signal light (on the front of the bumper) and I could get the socket/wrench in there to get out that bolt. or you can rip it out as marked001 did http://www.pwrhouse.com/ubb/wink.gif - so all in all..4 extra screws (two in bumper, and two in turn signal) to get to the hidden bolt, but it is much cleaner that way. I also removed my splash stuff from under the bumper to let some light in there so I could see... all in all it was the hardest part of the 60 minute CAI install..the K&N filter goes exactly where the resonator box is.

Hey, maybe a stupid question but I can't get the damn resonator box out. I removed the plastic panel underneath but the box is stucked somehow. Anybody know some tricks to remove it or know how it is secured?

Im pretty sure I had to pull the hell out of that box to get it out! http://www.pwrhouse.com/ubb/smile.gif Make sure you dont have any bolts holding it in that are hidden from view, thats the only thing I can think of!

Thanks for the tips! I got it out.
It was secured by two screws, one in the front and one in the rear.
Finally I finished my poor mans cold air intake http://www.pwrhouse.com/ubb/smile.gif, I can feel a difference after 5000rpm, nothing big but it is an improvement.
