HI,
I'm curious to see the reply's to this myself. Dh just asked me today which was better. Dd say's Chicago was the 1st store (right?). I bet they are both fabulous! We've never been to either one (live in Va).

Quite honestly, I prefer the Chicago store. The floor plan is much better. The New York store is very cramped.
I'm not sure if they have the photo station yet in NY, but they do have it in Chicago.
Of course, both are fun, but Chicago wins!
We are possibly meeting friends in Chicago this summer and of course, AGP is on our list, so I would be able to compare.
I have been to NY twice, and it is a little crowded when it's full.
As far as general tourist experiences, if you are just planning a trip, I think that Chicago and NYC are both great places to hang out with a family!
I think NY is better but I'm not sure because I haven't been to Chicago or Califorina yet!! I would like to go to AGPC, and AGPLA also because my dad lives in California but not in LA in Oakland I think.
I like both of them. They each have their own perks. Chicago has a better floor plan set-up and New York has a bigger Cafe. I personally think a view of NYC is better from than the Cafe than a view of Chicago because there are more landmarks and stuff to see.
Hi, I've been to both and I prefer Chicago. I'm not sure why, maybe because it was the first one I went to and I had read on this board previous to going to NY that that one was more cramped. I didn't find NY that cramped but it was much better set up in Chicago in my opinion. In NY I couldn't find the "Bookstore" and it turned out I had walked past it several times. Also my daughter and I and her best friend and mother did the whole "day at AGP" thing in Chicago and at NY I didn't have my daughter. Both are great though. You won't be disappointed either way!! Have fun!!
