Fellow drummers....
Finally the great UK drummer Mark Mondesir has been added to the pages of drummerworld.com!!! The guy is awesome and his concepts of time and pulse are amazing.......he played at the recent steve gadd london clinic and blew everyone away when he played with his brother bass player!!! Unfortunately he doesnt get the recognition he deserves so check him out...........dennis and tony dig him so i think thats a good enough reason!!!!
p.s - has anyone seen the dave weckl video on drummerworld.com? is it from the NYC collective bash???

when you guys see THIS guy, he will truely kick your butts!
dennis chambers has said he is the best drummer alive (not that there is a best, but thats how much Dc rates him).
When this guy plays it looks like nothing is impossible. check him out!

Check out Mondesir out on Kevin Eubanks' "Turning Point" with Smitty Smith too. These guys are all over the place. This CD definetly is a turning point for jazz fusion. I don't know if it's available any more but I'd be willing to share it. Also these guys are on K Eubanks' "Spirit Talk" and "Spirit Talk 2" although Mondesir might not be on both of them, but Smitty is worth checking out! Drumalot!
