We LIKE the dark...
We don't mind broken lightbulbs as long as they go out with a bright flast and a loud *BAMF*

I love it!
Who needs light when you're invisible in the dark-no fur needed!

Ooh...Pitch Black. I thought that movie was pretty nifty. A bit of an Alien rip-off but not bad. That would be a really cool Kurt-type mission.
That's a cool idea for him for the movie too. Just imagine that as his entrance, something moving unseen in the darkness. Seemingly everywhere at once. A flash of glowing eyes.
Cool.
And in the end a big white grin in the dark. http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Geez when ya stop and think about it ,what a spooky power! In a darkened room he could be standing right next to you and you wouldnt have a clue that he was there!
Nightcrawler being able to see perfectly in pitch black makes that power even cooler. (WoW, suddenly i'm reminded of the cool movie with Vin Diesel)
Wouldnt it be nice if they milked this ability in a story for once? I mean give Kurt a really cool stealth-heavy solo mission. With his powers he's tailor made for some kick a@@ James Bond type stuff.

BAMF!
My understanding is that his eyes don't really glow, they just reflect the light like cat's eyes. If that were true, he wouldn't be able to see in true pitch blackness because there'd be no light at all. Nothing can see in true darkness, unless they/it see in a different spectrum (infrared, etc) Even if you had cool NightVision goggles on, if the room were truly pitch black you wouldn't se anything because those things just amplify available light. I would assume Nightcrawler's eyes work somewhat the same way, so they would really glow in a darkened room. Otherwise he'd have to close hiseyes to use his invisibility power because his eyes would light up the room and everytone would be able to see, not just him. Of course, it looks cool to just draw eyes.
Heh, it'd be pretty cool/creepy to go see a movie with him. At some point, you turn and look next to you only to see a pair of yellow eyes, apearantly floating in mid-air.

Yup! That amazing issue where Alan davis kinda breaks down ALL of Nightcrawler's powers. If I remember the guy testing Kurt was amazed.."Is there no end to his gifts?"
Cool stuff!
BAMF!
That would be creepy GARBLE! Just rented Pitch Black again (really like that movie!)and couldnt help but thinking "Wow,they made an entire movie that was pretty much centered around just one of Kurt's abilities!"
When ya think about it Kurt and his powers are built for ACTION. I really hope his mini-series and upcoming stint on Casey's Uncanny reflect this!
BAMF!
