Does anyone else HATE flying as much as I do? I ask some people and they say its a lot of fun to them to tke off and land and have you plane shake becuse of turbulence. its fun to them the same way a roller coaster is fun. I have a seven hour flight to Holland which im simaltaneously looking forward to and dreading because i can only imagine being stuck in a fucking plane for seven hours in turbulence. Did i mention the time i flew to florida and saw lightning miss th wing by about a foot?
Any flying horror stories out there?

Only flown once...business round trip from California to Chicago with a stop over in Phoenix, but other than not liking heights, some bad turbulance leaving San Jose International during a damm rain storm, and being in line at the airport and hearing that a plane had crashed in Queens (I think), NY, it was just peachy...

i flew last year from LaGuardia to Ohio, Ohio to Phoenix, and back again the same way....and i was a little nervous taking off and landing each time, but i also figured if i were destined to die that way, there wouldn't have been anything i coulda done to change my fate, so i just kinda laid back and accepted whatever would happen.....you just might end up white-knuckling it the whole time, cuz it all depends on how you handle any other kinda fear.....me? i choose to go into a deep state of denial and just forge ahead *L

Leo, the one that tends to scare the shit out of me more was John Lithgow in the Twilight Zone Movie version of that episode. Im just as scared of Lithgow as i am of the Monster. LOL

On my way to parris island we flew, dont remember where we landed, but it was fun, that was my first time on a commercial flight.
I had been up once in a private plane when i was younger, even got to pilot it, and of course what is the first thing i tried to do??

one thing tho, when you are up there, just imagine crashing into something, and that will help you., or having a gaping hole in the side of the plane, and being sucked out.
