Well this is my first post here, though i have been lurking on this board for a year or so. Anyway my car should be back on the road in no more than 2 weeks so i should have some stuff to talk about now. The car is a 00 civic si, stock b16a head, sleeved 84mm gsr block, eagle rods, je pistons, jrsc (not sure what boost pressure i will see, my kit came with a 4.2 inch blower pulley and i am throwing on the crv crank pulley with he new build), Clutch Masters stage 3 clutch and lightweight flywheel, quaife lsd in b16 tranny, hondata 2b, dsm 440's, walbro 317, ghetto homeaid intake for now, dc 4-1 header, evolution 2.25 cat back. That it for the new build. Still no gauges though.
old setup: stock b16a2, jrsc 4.2" blower pulley, dc 4-1, aem cai, evolution exhaust, walbro 317 fuel pump. No times or #'s for the old setup, but i was running a tiny bit slower than my friends e36 M3 if that gives anybody an idea. Also had a few mid 14 sec g-tech passes if anyone gives a shit for g-tech times

With a 4.2" pulley I doubt you will see more than 5-6 psi but that is a great place to start from.

You need to go 2.5". Your motor is being choked IMO.

I'm guessing 6-7 psi with the CRV crank pulley. I'll have my engine swapped over here soon (if it doesn't rain)

vtecvoodoo, yeah i plan on upgrading the entire exhaust system but for now its what i have to work with. i still owe like 2 grand on the motor, everthing else is paid for though. Next thing is some gauges, i was tryin to save up for the defi ones but i will probably go with autometer for now so i can monitor some vitals.

Hi BXSI
How's your set up coming along? Why didn't you go the B20 route? Wouldn't that have been cheaper to get the CRV engine and take it from there? I am thinking of going this route myself.
Thanks.

Correction, with a CRV crank pulley and a 4.2" blower pulley you should see as high as 7 to 8 PSI dependiing on how free flowing your exhaust is. It will spin the alternator a little bit faster but that's nothing to worry about. You should make some really good #'s with that setup.

it's actually coming along pretty good, i originally planned on having a shop do most of the work for me, but he lost his lease on the shop so i took matters into my own hands and have been working on it myself in my spare time when the weather is nice. The b20 route is ok, but i really didn't want to keep stock sleeves plus the rod/stroke ratio is a little better with the gsr block than the crv.
92sleepR how exactly are you calculating what i would be boosting, i need a basemap burned soon so i would really love to know a good estimate on what i would be boosting..thanx
BTW i have a bunch of pics on how it is coming along, if anyone wants to host them for me let me know.
