Who else has read/seen this amazing example of manga/anime? If so: discuss, discuss! Who's the best character(s)? (Haruka, Shinobu, and Kitsune, obviously!) What's the best episode? (the video game dream where Mutsumi sings the turtle song OR the unaired 25th episode where we see Motoko's underwear numerous times! -- again obvious!) What country is Su from? (does anybody know for sure?) Why is Motoko mortally afraid of turtles? (aside from the fact that it's her essential superhero weakness) If Kitsune and Haruka had a drinking contest, who would drink who under the table? (probably Haruka, but it doesn't matter as long as they both end up really, really drunk!)
And if you haven't seen it, you should definitely seek it out. Even if you don't like manga or anime (which I did not before running across Love Hina at the Mid-Ohio con with Blue Orange last December), you'll probably like this. Most good comic shops will carry the manga books or know how to get them, and you can find the DVDs at Best Buy (pricey though). But if money's tight (and you ask nicely (e-mail [email protected]), I'll send you a CD with all 14 volumes of the manga and a couple episodes of the anime on it.

Love Hina follows the standard "one guy and a bunch of girls who love him" formula. I thought that Tenchi was more fun. I've just seen that type of anime too much to be impressed with it anymore. I've become jaded. [img]graemlins/cry_smile.gif[/img]

Seen it, haven't read it. Shoot, I still have 7 issues of SHONEN JUMP to work through, not to mention a load of other manga I bought years ago.

And hi to everyone else. Making a rare appearance today, I am. VERY busy with the schoolwork, am turning stuff into my Sociology teacher either every day or every other day. Very busy doesn't describe it. I'm swamped. Marx vs. Durkheim...ugh ugh.

As for Love Hina, it's one of those titles that stares at me from the newsagent stands, but I've never picked it up. I'm still to finish Lone Wolf and Cub.
