I'm just wondering if replacing my stock pistons with the JE pistons and a NuFormz blockguard would be sufficient to strengthen the cylinder?
Would this be strong enough for an 8psi JRSC setup or Drag Gen. III setup?
What does labor on something like this cost?

if you're planning on changing out the pistons... might as well change out the rods or strengthen them by shotpeening them...
with stronger rods, forged pistons, and a blockguard... your car will be able to take the 8 psi easily... or with a DRAG turbo, and go with some 9:1 pistons... you can boost like 18 psi with enough fuel and spark. if with the JRSC at 8PSI then go with a 10:1 or 10.5:1 compression.... if with the DRAG, go with the lower 9:1 or 9.5:1 compression pistons... that should hold up your bottom end...
as for labor... the amount that you'll be paying for the rods, pistions, and blockguard will be a lot more than what you'll be paying for the work....
