what gap are you guys setting your plugs to? my 8 b18c is running BKR7E's gapped at .038 .. is that too big? my ignition setup is accel 300+ coil/ignition box along some magnacore wires ...
are there advantages/disadvantages to running bigger or smaller gaps?
I would think that the gap is just fine. I am running the BKR7E-VX's (high performance platinums) at .042 with the stock ignition. JR recommends I think between .036 and .039 for the sc applications. You could actually run a larger gap for a more efficient burn but it really depends on how much tuning time you want to take. It is a real pain to gap, and regap (at least it is to me). You should be just fine at that size.
