Can anyone help me with this?
I need a timer circuit so i can try something out with my camera, i need a circuit that will close a switch every ten or 5 seconds then open again. Id like to connect it too the remote plug on my camera, so i can set it to 1 fps and have a circuit that will close the switch every 5 seconds so it takes a frame every 5 seconds.
Can anyone help me with this, i tried to explain what i mean as best i can, Id like to try out time lapse photography by getting the camera to take a single frame every 5 seconds or so, but i dont want to sit there with the camera flicking the remote switch every 5 seconds, get what i mean?

Ah, glad you found what you wanted.
There is another way to build a cheap intervalometer. There are Christmas tree lights that have an adjustable blinking cycle. The adjustment is pretty crude but workable. If you take a meter and measure the voltage coming from one of the open sockets, then you can wire in an appropriate cheapo relay in place of the bulb. The relay will close every time the bulbs blink. The relay activates the camera and, bingo! Instant (and somewhat festive) intervalometer!
