Anybody have any film rejuvenation stories.
Film salvaged from a flood?
Old film delicately transferred with tender loving care...who did the transfer for you?
Film that looked unsaveable but was saved...who did it.
If your going to go to the trouble and expense to save old films....what FORMAT do you transfer to....certainly not VHS!
Do you risk sending such delicate films by FED-EX or UPS, or if it is really precious, do you drive it there in person???
Do you ask to supervise the transfer???
Fire away.

Hey, Alex!
I processed a roll of film that had been sitting in the family's old super 8 camera that had been sitting around for over 15 years! It turned out kind of splotchy but better than I expected. It was processed by Dwaynes.
I read Sidney Lumet's book and he described one film he was working on where a bunch of his rolls of film fell off the back of a truck belonging to the processing lab or delivery carrier. This was a while ago, but how much does that suck?
I guess maybe you can look back now and laugh at something like that...

So, whenever you find or buy a super-8 camera, and there happens to be a roll of film in it...what do you do?
