Im going to try out my camera for the first time, its a chinon 256 sxl and ive got the camera figured out totally, but i wanted to know about any pitfalls or things i need to be careful about with Kodachrome 40. I know how to work all the exposure etc.

Pitfalls about Kodachrome 40.
hmmm....biggest single complaint is it is a contrasty film....so when filming darker objects next to brigher objects, sometimes you won't get both objects to expose in a manner satisfactory to the way you may see it in real life with your own eyes.
This can be even truer if you transfer the film to video....something that looked fine or minimally dark with projection may look darker when you transfer, especially when transferred on a rank cintel
