Hey, I want to film a video screen, but it comes up all funky. Is there a way I can do something to my computer so it doesn't do this?

It aint the video screen you have to adjust, it's the camera shutter speed. Most broadcast cameras have a electronic controlled adjuster which can change the speed to the exact setting to avoid the flicker.

television runs at 30 frames a second (29.97 to be exact)... that is why you get the lines.. your shutter is moving slower then the screen is refreshing, so you are getting roll back... make sense? I think so!
makes sense to me Shirt, you long lost old dog you!
What's up!
They said it although what they mean by refesh rate is Hz, it's different for different TV's, usually around 65Hz, set your camera to this and you should get round the problem.
