As I mentioned in my intro post, I'm very new to this board, so I have a question that I know you guys could help me out with.
I collected Molly, Felicity, and Mimi (GT15) in the early 90s.
And then I finally got back into it after ten years and got myself Chloe (GT24).
I noticed a huge difference with the bodies. I have yet to go back to my parent's house in LA to compare, but newer bodies seem thinner.
Any reason to this? Or am I just seeing things?

They are thinner and their necks are longer. The older ones are more little girlish to my way of thinking(and thus-cuter!) But I love my mattels as much as my pre-mattels. Reason for the change-who knows!
Welcome to the board!

I've noticed this too, the newer clothes are a tighter fit on the old dolls. When I put my PM Molly and my new Elizabeth side by side you can really notice that Elizabeth is taller and skinnier.

The new dolls also have a smaller rump, thinner face and some dolls have darker hair.
When you visit your parents home, you can drop by the AGLAP. It opened a few weeks ago in the Grove Mall.
