Me thinks that women were built to not know how to adapt once the industrial revolution took hold.

I'm sure most females would gladly love to be married to the right person but i don't think i'm that sort of person. no matter how 'right' they are for you, it'll all end with monotony, a state where you're neither happy nor unhappy which creates perpetual stagnation.

Then again, some people say i just haven't met the 'right' one.

I'd say there's no definite answer to the question. My aunt is happily unmarried and forty, a missionary out in Asia.

My mother got married to my father at 20 and they are now 48 and still very much in love.

Some people don't need to look for "the one" - this is what Jelymo claims about herself (stp forum member). Some people do. And some people, like my boyfriend, figured that giving up the chase was the best idea, and if it's going to happen, it'll find you.

Believe me, monogamy is definitely the way to go (at least for me [img]wink.gif[/img] , and in a Christian cosmic sense, for everyone).
