Smug...

I think I know what I hate most in the world.

Smug.

Smugness.

Pre-conceit that one has something over someone else, they know it, and it's not even a big deal.

Smug is bad.

Smugness should be confused with confidence.

Confidence is the belief in yourself.

Smugness is the belief that you are superior to others. It's a Hitler thing.

I bet Smugness by many opposing forces contributed to the WTC tragedy.

Stamp out smugness, you stamp out future atrocities.

Ah, a subtext to the word smug.

There is the self-satisfied smugness as you described, which may in fact not hurt anyone else.

And then there is the I'm Ok, you'll never be as good as me, but I'll never tell smugness.

So, are you saying that I was smug in my assessment that multiple ID users are smug in the knowledge that they can move stealthfully around.

General Philosophy

I have only one ID and I have never thought about being smug about it. Maybe I am smug, but do not realize it. Maybe other people are smug but they do not realize it either.
Am I being smug if I simply have two IDs?

If (1)ID = Mug,

and (2)ID = Smug +or- Intent,

then + or - = Intent,

Then I guess it comes down to whose tent you are in, give or take.
