Hey guys i got a JRSC on a 98ex civic. I just became a dealer for jackson and they sent me a really trick kit. It has a 255l in tank fuel pump,1 heat range colder plugs, MSD BTM, 9.5psi pulleys(crank and charger),jackson/autometer boost guage, and thats about it. the problem i am having is when ikick hard into boost my a/f gauge stops registering until i let off the throttle , but if i go into boost gradually it registers find. Am i running lean, or is this a natural occurence.......please help

I have the same issue right now if I set my fuel pressure to what the other 8 PSI gents are using. Check your headers, spark plugs and listening for pinging. I bet you're running lean if anything.

Well i have my base timing at ten degrees , jackson says my fuel pressure should be at 55psi at idle, but i left it at its stock setting which is 69psi(jackson says its cause of the new pump)my check engine light is on , but thats because my buddy cant adjust valves , so my timing is even more retarded because its in limp mode........thats why i dont think it is running lean....they say i am really loosing a lot of power because of these factors but i cant tune it properly with a guage that doesnt work

If you're in Limp Mode, doesn't VTEC de-activate and other bad for performance things happen? I wouldn't be surprised if being in Limp Mode is the first problem you have to fix.
