Someday I intend to tell you how I feel,
About the way you make my armor yield.
To you and your voice of song,
How my heart does so long.
Perhaps someday you'll see my dream,
The simple idea for which my eyes gleem.
To live with one in pure sweet joy,
Not once more would it be a ploy.
I know my ideas and my error,
And so you sit quietly over there.
The gleem in my eyes begins to fade,
As I realize the hole in my soul, of which you have made.
**I wanted to try some rhyming again, I missed it**

As miserable as life may be I hold it pretty precious...
If I lose the light of the sun, I will write by candlelight, moonlight, no light. If I lose paper and ink, I wil write in blood on forgotten walls. I will write always, I will capture nights all over the world and bring them to you.

I entirely enjoyed this and do not wish to critique it so that is all I will say.

I am my new Religion

I love it!
I'm not good on rhyming either...
i think one of the reasons why i like this poem so much, is i feel i can identify with it...well my interpretation anyway, which is probably completely opposite of what you meant lol
nice choice of wording and the sequence is perfect...very nice http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/wink.gif
