just lost myself in thought trance and various American afternoons
dazed crazed in my luxury of no maneuver
when a creature with wings stole my silence
my lucid calm void in the road of what's real
to me me bend in fear and voice louder than ever to razor steel beak and dark angeled eyes, lost beauty and a total fit of
death
the eyes of god
reaching his quick
hands down to steal
my sins.
an owl
searing through
my skies of
green dreams

well,
its alright to see you posting stuff i have to interpret finally. i felt like i was reading one of tsilo's poems.
I liked,
"the eyes of god
reaching his quick
hands down to steal
my sins."
- that part was so different from what you normally post and i felt like your catholic church was speaking somewhere - maybe you were speaking against it, but i saw something you usually try to avoid coming through beautifully. i think sometimes one must deal with "god" in one way or another as something non existant or as something existant, especially if one is brought up in a tradition of god's existance. i know you hate it when i use references to christianity and god all the time, and maybe you didn't want anything in this poem to have anthing to do with god, but you said the word and i jumped on it.
