I just received a UPS order of some of the new items, including both of the tea dresses. Neither fit my PM Lissie because the sleeves are too tight.
Felicity's tea dress is the worst fit of the two. Only one sleeve would not work on Elizabeth's dress, so maybe if I get another it will be ok. Apparently that one sleeve was just sewn incorrectly.
And Felicity's tea dress is supposed to be part of the new replacement shipment AG just got, because in the original run the sleeves were too tight also.
I didn't bother to try them on a newer doll, if they don't fit my PM Lissie, then there is no point keeping them.
AG is sending me replacements for both - hope they work better!

What a bummer! Yeah there is no point in keeping them if they dont fit.... I am curious to see... I am supposed to be getting mine in the mail probably tomorrow ... I will let you know if mine fit... Ill probably be returning them also... Anyone get theirs that actually fits PM Lissie?

I am supposed to be getting another set of both tea dresses soon. They shipped Friday. Ingrid wanted me to try again, but is sending me label for the first set and anything else I want to return. Honestly, I'm not holding my breath.
The riding habits are tight over the hands and around the arms, but the fabric has a lot more give so it's not as bad. The tea dresses were unreal, and *barely* fit my purchased-in-August Lissie's arms. (And then the blue one fell part in my fingers...) *sigh*

So if you want to ship something back, do you have to pay for the shipping return? Can you call and they can send you a label to return it in?
-
Definitely no way do you have to pay shipping on something that is sub-par in quality! Ingrid offered me a return label right away, and the same happened when I had to return my first Lissie, who was loose in the hips. If you express your displeasure with quality or receive something that's damaged, they'll pay the return postage.

I called as soon as I tried them on her this afternoon. They said they would send new ones out right away, and send a UPS label so I could send these back. You don't have to pay to send them back when it's a quality issue like this.
I agree - I'm not holding my breath that the next ones will fit either.

I see that there are a number of us upset over the tight dresses, I was so angry that I put my complaint under the "tea lesson" topic. Anyway, I have another complaint, should the shoes fit with the socks on? Mine don't. $28 outfits and its such a waste of money. I'm probably going take it all back when I go to AGPC for the Club brunch. I was so looking forward to these outfits, major disappointment.

What a bummer! You would think they would make sure they fit and stuff before selling them! I know the demands are probably high for these items and they are in a huge rush to get them out, but id rather wait and get a quality item than to get it on time or early and have it be sub-par quality...

I really hope these replacements fit because I am excited to get some new outfits for Felicity. I guess if they don't fit, I will order something different - probably some of the new AGT stuff.

I decided not to get Lissie's tea dress for exactly this reason. My chubette will not fit into it!
I have decided that from now the dresses for Lissie and my pre-Mattel Elizabeth will come from home made productions (let's hear it for ebay!)
Regarding the shoes: I got the impression that AG blew it with them: Lissie's tea dress comes with mules (??!!) and ELizabeth fancy schmanzy ball gown comes with slippers that resemble ballet shoes. TO go visit the governor? fabric shoes without soles???
Sigh!
