SiP Source Book NEWS!
The Source Book is finished and going to the printer this weekend. It is truly a series primer you have to have. I'm not being a salesman here, I really mean it. I loaded this thing with everybody's bios, a complete timeline of Katchoo and Francine's life and how they interact together from beginning to end and a sidebar showing which tradepaperback covers which area of their lives, "family trees" of the two girls showing where every character comes from, a full song and poem listing for every original song and poem in the series, a complete book index and a whole lot of SiP facts and trivia, some of which I'm revealing for the
first time.
I'm not kidding, if you've read the series, you need this. Especially now as we've come to the end of an era of sorts. It simplifies and explains many things, including subplots you know happened but didn't see... like when did Veronica start dating Chuck? And how can Katchoo meet David twice? Well, okay, you've
seen that one but, how did Darcy know where to find Katchoo and when did that betrayal take place? It's in the timeline and bios.
I'm very excited because IIIIIII need this book. Plus, the picture you've seen for the cover of the SiP trio is just the inside front cover. The REAL cover is a full wraparound cover, on glossy, heavier cover stock, featuring 23 characters posing for the first time together in a cast shot. Very George Perez. Katchoo's making Francine show cleavage to try and sell the book to whatever fan boy sees it, Casey's t-shirt is a scream and Sara is completely nude... brave girl.
Video Pat is ogling Tambi and Freddie doesn't know what to make of her. Even Veronica is there, looking very cute sitting on top of Det. Walsh's shoulders.
Price is same as a regular issue, $2.95.
Should be in stores in about 2-3 weeks. It was waaay underordered by the retailers, so you're going to have to be agressive to get one. If all else fails, order one from us.
