A friend of mine is looking for a cheap, complete set of drums and cymbals. I think under $500 is the target. It seems that most in this category are all the same Taiwan made Phil. Mahog. shells with different hardware.
Has anyone tried the Vex maple drums from eBay? They SEEM good, but I've never seen or heard them in person.
