I thought I would start this topic up here. It seems to generate a lot of interest at the defunct SFV http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/wink.gif
I guess I'll start...
I was the one of the men who warned that the British were invading Boston. I made a living out of Copper.

Could you perhaps be the original Midnight Rider, Paul Revere?
-
Well Revere is wrong anyway. He was a silversmith, not copper. That'll teach me to read half the question before posting...lol.
The other two riders were William Dawes and Samuel Prescott. Prescott was the only one to make it to Concord, but he was a physician, so, by process of elimination, I'm going to guess Dawes, since I have no idea what he did for a living. http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

And I see Nommy has gone to Maine, so I guess we won't find out till next week! http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif
-
Did you know that Paul Reverer was arrested before he got out of Boston and hence never made the ride he is famous for? One of these days I'll remeber his name. Sorry
-
LOL, yup, thirty lashes with a wet noodle for him!
-
Nommy,
Was the answer right?
-
Pssssst.....Feather Head! I wonder if he really knows...I betcha he's just trying to get the correct answer from one of us so he can win a contest or something. http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/wink.gif

I WIN I WIN! Thanks to all for letting me winn 200,000 dollars (Yeah right).
OK, well...I was wrong...but I saw a collection of copper things made by Revere. (Ever heard of Revere wear?)
Anyway..It was Revere that I was thinking of. Guess it could have been a trick question.
I couldnt find any "quick" answers on William Dawes

So what you're saying is Cosmic won. Take it away, CT!
