Matt Garrison & Jojo Mayer

I just ordered the new Matt Garrison dvd
feat Jojo Mayer and Gene Lake.Has anybody else seen this?

Don't have it, but please let us know the pros and cons. Matt is an awesome player. Plays great on Mclaughlin's Heart Of Things Live in Paris. I love his 1st solo CD as well... [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]

Judging from those players alone, it should be great... [img]cool.gif[/img]

Let us know how it is. Matt is one of the greats.
He has his own label now and is really doing a great job at documenting his music.

He told me some great stories about his Godfather- Jack Dejohnette. Jack was a great role model and father figure!

Jo Jo was one of those sleepers for me. I've come to like him alot....his vids on drummerworld are quite good

I've had the privilege of meeting Matt when he came to my home town of Morecambe in Lancashire with Gary Husband (Force Majeure). A great guy, check out his solo on Mother Tongues track 2, Heart of Things live in Paris, phenonaminal. The articulation is out of this world. He also plays a lovely Fodera bass.
