I've just heard the Daniel Bedinfield song again ('If you're not the one' I think it's called) and it's is THE most beautiful song that I think I've EVER heard in my life (sorry Darren but it's the truth mate).
It reduced me to tears.
Such power and emotion.....

Oh I agree with you Terry [img]smile.gif[/img] It's absolutely beautiful and the video that goes with it is just pure emotion. He looks to be actually on the verge of tears and you can see the lump in his throat and when he falls to the floor prostrate with grief that he can't have the person he loves - OMG it's just heartbreaking stuff!
You're right, for me its THE single of the year and I'm definitely buying that next Monday - it'll be #1 for sure here in UK [img]smile.gif[/img]

OOoh yeah I love that track too. Actually I bought the album and you know what - there are a few ballads on there! He also comes over as being a really spiritual guy - like Darren in his more reflective moments, lol!
There are a couple of faster tracks too - but I was really surprised, I was expecting only to like one or two song but I like most of them...the ones I like least are probably the first 2 singles, actually, lol!
I haven't seen the vid but I think I'll get the single just so I can see it.
I agree with Terry - this is my absolute favourite song atm. I still give Darren my support because I have the longer term view in mind...but much as I adore Darren, I like If You're Not The One better than I Miss You!
To me there's no comparison between IYNTO and IMY. IMY is a nice little song but it's one of those 'off the cuff' one's that Darren writes in his sleep (and I think even he'd probably agree with that lol [img]wink.gif[/img] ) but the DB song has pure, raw emotion to it.
I know what you mean about the long term view though Sue. Darren is a 'keeper'! (now, where have I heard THAT term before? [img]wink.gif[/img] lol)
