The Yankees are Doomed

It would be nice to see nothing go right for the Yankees this year. Their starting pitching is not exactly young and their overall lineup is certainly not as fearsome as it once was even with Giambi. I'm sure Giambi will do fine. I'm still laughing at the 50 million dollar man-Jorge Posada. 50 million???

I don't want to sound like sour grapes but the yanks truly have had everything go right for them over the past 5 years or so. They have had an aging club, and almost no serious injuries. Some of this is probably due to good training and work habits, but there's an element of chance in all of this too, and over time, the odds always even out.

Thing is, if things start going wrong for the Yanks they have deep pockets to set them right again. They don't operate on the same level every other club operates on.

I'd like to see the A's win their division just to irk Jason. & Yanks come in 2nd or 3rd in their division, not gonna happen I KNOW, but this is just wishing. I do NOT want Boston to come in first, tho', I abhore them more than I do the Yankees.

Just say the Indians don't do well this year, I'm not inclined to think that tho', but say it went poorly for us-I'd root for Minnesota over the White Sox. I've been reading some MLB boards & it seems that ChiSox fans rank up there in being arrogant, cocky, & obnoxious. That's in every team's fandom, tho, even the tribes, but dang if the ChiSox Fans don't seem to stink of it more than the Twins & Indians Fans. BoSox fans also rank up there in arrogance & plain meaness.

Yanks fans are arrogant, too, but I dunno, they've earned that right, saddly. I think I don't hate the Yanks as Much as I use to because Boston has taken their place with me. I stil don't want to see the Yanks do well, regardless.

That's one way I form deep seeded hatred of teams, ha. It's fun in that it makes the beating those teams so much sweeter.

It remains to be seen if the Yankees will sacrifice their latest crop of prospects to keep the run going. If so, they'll pick up what they need at the break. I'd love to see Nick the Stick have a nice career somewhere other than N.Y. He's going to be a good one.
If the Tribe was out of it, I'd give 'em Colon for Johnson and Claussen, or Rivera/Almonte/Claussen. Let Bart go and learn at the feet of the Fat Master Wells.
