At the moment I can't seem to find the thread where we were last talking about joining forces with the Yahoo group who had somebody with the BetsuHana magazine but didn't speak Japanese...
anyway, just a day or two ago, omeone over at the Yahoo Count Cain group was plaintively begging for translations or summaries or anything, so I decided that was an opportunity to throw out the proposal that if whoever it was over there would scan it, I could translate it and somebody could edit it and we'd all be able to read it and be happy...

If somebody takes me up on the translation offer, would S-C.net want to make it an "official" project, or should I beg for "unofficial" editing volunteers from the board...?

Oh that's great! I do hope that they say yes! Hmm...we could make it an official project and if anyone from the board wanted to help out, they'd be more than welcome. (a few people on the board are already editors for s-c.net anyways!)

Aw what the hell, I wasnt serious about getting into university anyway. So nevermind real life work I'll do some editing, if you want. I've had a bit of experience doing CCD (not yet released).

Jake_149 over at Yahoo Groups said he could scan for me and that it'd take at least a week.
So when he gets that done, Crisis, would you be willing to let him give you guys the scans, and then let me (as translator) and whoever wants to edit download the files from some particular quiet directory on your site?
I ought to be done with Akai 2 by then; I'll put this in line ahead of wherever you want me to start in God Child, because I assume editing the rest of Akai is going to take longer than translating one chapter of this... plus I want to know what's going on! ^^;;
By the way, where DO you want me to start in God Child...?

first he's got to scan it, and then I've got to translate it, and then someone's got to edit it, and then S-C.net has to find a time and place to post it... ^^;;;
Random side note: I bumped into a great interview with Kaori Yuki (kind of old now but still entertaining) wherein she maintains that of all her characters she'd prefer to marry Oscar because life would be entertaining although he'd likely have an affair, and for those who want to see some Riff/Cain slashing going on, they're out of luck because Riff was apparently born with his clothes on and they don't come off. (ROTFL... ^_^)

(sweatdrop) Anybody can email me if they like -- [email protected], same email as in the fanworks section at S-C.net; that's the email I put on web pages -- but *because* I put that email on web pages, the account has gotten picked up by so many spambots that it's anyone's guess whether your mail will get through or whether my account has been filled up with people mailing me 127-K or 136-K virus files and ads for Viagra. >.<
So I figured it was more honest just to leave the mail-clicker thing turned off, because I see messages here a lot faster and more reliably than I see them in Hotmail... but feel free to give the "has her box been spammed out again or has she beaten the spammers off with a stick again in the past 24 hours" roulette a try if you like! ^^;;;

Yeah! Thanks Risu-chan...this is great! I can't wait to see the scans of "Blood Hound"! (Ahhhh now we know the name too. ^^) Do you have any idea how many chapters there are in it? (Or is it just a short 30 page comic type thing?)
