Just letting you know, a very good friend of mine has gotten DSL and she will be joining the Granaboard soon. She's currently studying English, but I think she's good enough (and certainly better than she says she is ). She'll be posting under the name of Reena (note: in Spain, Lina Inverse/Slayers is translated as Reena Inverse for some obscure reason).

Yes! Bring on the fresh meat! And don't forget to give her a copy of my map.
-
Looking forward to meeting her ^_^

Same here. English speaking is good... That way, I wont get confuzzled!

That's nice , I'll tell her to start posting soon. This will be her first board so she's not used to this kind of thing but she wants to try.

EDIT: WRT my first post in this thread:
<BLOCKQUOTE><font size=2 face="Verdana,Tahoma">quote:</font><table border="0" width="90%" bgcolor="#333333" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="0"><tr><td width="100%"><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2" bgcolor="#FF9900"><tr><td width="100%" bgcolor="#E0E0E0"><font size=2 face="Verdana,Tahoma">note: in Spain, Lina Inverse/Slayers is translated as Reena Inverse for some obscure reason</font></td></tr></table></td></tr></table></BLOCKQUOTE>
I learnt that she was called Rina so in the Japanese version, so it's a more accurate translation. There's always a lot of crap going on when tanslating things involving 'r' from Japanese, I think it's because it doesn't have the 'l' letter, and translators seem to think they meant 'l' but had to use 'r', or something like that. I don't know Japanese, so I might be wrong.

Yeah, Reena is the "spanish" for Lina in Lina Inverse. Bienvenida, Reena! ^^ (Cuando quiera que vengas!)

Hola, Reena (cuando vengas).
-
Reena asked me to say she won't be posting much for about a week (technical reasons) but she'll be back after it.

Awesome, more users. That'll be cool. Welcome Reena.
