I have the laserdisc with his quintet and have seen some of his playing with Miles, both illusrations of his playing, but on a Zildjian video I have, Tony is dressed in a blue doctor's scrub shirt and slamming the hell out of his toms. The view is from the hi hat and towards Tony.
It is so damned cool, it sounds like a war's going on.
Anyone know of the source, and if it's available anywhere?
THat guy died way too early. I had just started getting really deep into his playing.
