I decided to get a few of my favorites from Marvel.I no longer collect the comics or cards, but these have that special "something" that made me pick them up.
I am going to pick up Wolverine, Sabretooth, & Deadpool(the concept of this character and his style was really interesting to me).
The articulation and how it ruins the figure's overall appearance is the major reason why I won't collect more than my favorites. Paint selection for Cable should have been much better. The yellow didn't need to be that bright. His skin looks almost ok in the picture, however, in person, it looks like he put on some fake tan cream.

not a big Cable fan myself (my Marvel loves are pretty much all Spidey-related), but that Colossus looks fantastic!
the articulation is half the reason I buy those type of figures. but I still play with my toys. [img]wink.gif[/img]

The Cable variant looks a little better with the brown, but hes still a sweet figure. And I just finished the new issue of Astonishing X-men and the big suprise at the end was the big metal guy back from the grave.

Those look pretty cool. I agree, tho - I wish there was a line of inexpensive Marvel figures with less articulation. I'm just not a fan of "diaper-crotch groin joints". [img]wink.gif[/img]

Yeah, I'm just picking up my favorites, too
(which so far is just Dr. Doom, the Surfer & Ghost Rider)

I know they aren't the best, and I would prefer if the ML figures were less articulated (as well as the Spider-man Classics and other Classic lines), but since I no longer have the extensive comic collection I once did, I am reliving my childhood by picking up the figures that I read when I was collecting comics.
My problem is - I read a lot of comics growing up! [img]redface.gif[/img]
X-Men, Avengers, FF, Defenders, Spider-man, Daredevil, etc....
And the downside is, except for Deadpool and Cable, all ML figs have been ones I read about!
I did cave in on those two though due to Cable fitting in too well with the X-men line, and Deadpool reminding me of a favorite of my GI Joe reading

I like the fact that they are very poseable, and have a good amount of articulation, but I think they could have slightly less. They have so much, and the joints are kinda loose on some, so sometimes they don't hold certain poses that well.

Yeah Im mainly just getting the X-Men ML's, but, I find half the fun is changing 'em so I like them! I've gotten over the tons of articulation, I actually it somewhat, for posing! Now I need to find a deadpool!
