Steve Gadd tribute DVD

Well, according to Rob Wallis this DVD will not be released until Fall now. Can ya guess why?
Rob said due to needing releases and permission, where have we heard this from? Samething happened when putting out the Modern Drummer festival 2000 video.

Damn, i had the great expenrience of seeing Gadd live with Clapton in the weekend.

Amazing feel and pocket - this man is truly a legend and fully deserves the tribute concert.

Too bad the release has been posponded

zildjian was showing the video during namm at their booth. looked like it was finished.

It's not that it's not done, but they have to get permissions on what they are using form the artists such as Vinnie, or James taylor. Wallis did not go into specifics.

Does anybody have the Drummer's Collective DVD w/Gadd? Have we done a review of this yet?

Yeah, Gadd was great on James Taylor's last tour AW...a natural choice for JT's gig, since CV & JP have gone on now.
Erskine or Ferrone would've been great choices too. [img]wink.gif[/img]

BTW, Looks like Tommy Denander's 'The Making of Radioactive' Dvd featuring Jeff Porcaro also have been "delayed" once again. Last I heard it was supposed to have been released in late February.
......Guess we'll just have to wait.
