Just letting people know I got my 2 rolls of K40 8mm film back from Dwaynes with excellent results. The film expired in 1982, but had been refridgerated since then. I was nervously expecting an overall redish to the film, but I was surprised that it looked great.
If you find film that expired in the 80's go for it!

I had some K40 super 8 film that expired in 1992, that turned out fine..I think because K40 is essentially a b/w film, with the color added during development, that probably helps with it's longevity...
