Just how many good teams are there in the American League...???

I count three teams. The Yankees, The Red Sox, and the Mariners.

Decent teams include the Angels, White Sox, and Twins...and maybe the A's...

I believe the Indians to be the true Wild Card in the American League. They may sputter to respectability even without a second table-setter, but with a second tablesetter, they would be the fourth best team in the league, with a chance to knock out any team should they make the playoffs.

You are right about the good and decent teams.

I think the A's are going to come back just like the Tribe.

Everyone wanted to write both teams off a little too early.

Then there's the sneaky teams...Texas, Detroit & Baltimore...

Detroit has played .500 ball since starting the season 0-9. Baltimore swept Seattle...

And at some point, Juan, Pudge and Arod will be playing at the same time and playing well.
