so a few houses down from mine... lives a
family that had recently come into owning
a little, cute, solid-white bunny since easter.
this little guy was too cute... and i can't
remember its name for some reason.
anyways...
it had the habit of getting out of its
cage quite often since, supposedly, the
cage (which was kept outside) had a big
hole in it.
many times the rabbit escaped and was later
found a bit down the road munching on some
grass.
yesterday the rabbit must have escaped
because it was found outside my back door...
dead......
my assumption is that the rabbit escaped and
found its way under the fence out back
since the stupid neighbor's dog likes to
dig holes....
and naturally i blame the death of the rabbit
on my neighbors dog...
mainly because he's a frisky bastard and
my dog is scared enough of my cats that i
doubt she would attack a helpless bunny.
the problem is.....
the dead bunny is now missing.... as it was
not removed yesterday when it was found.
naturally its assumed that the neighbors
dog had either eaten it or buried it...
the moral of the story? (other than how
i dislike my neighbor's dog?)
if anyone asks if i've seen the rabbit...

My boss has two charpee (spelling?) dogs and earlier this year they sent one of them off for breeding. Well, two weeks ago she was having puppies... she had four, one of which died. I'm not sure, but she put the body into a sandwich bag on put it on the back porch, I presume while she tended to the bitch and helped with the other puppies. Anyway, she went back out later to get the bag only to find that their other dog had gotten to it first. What a mess [img]graemlins/gulp.gif[/img]
