As you may or may not know...I am starting the Rock nights at Matrix club on a Saturday night...they are planning to get an extension til 2 am for this.
My idea is to have Wendal dj 8 til 10,playing loads of pop punk and emo stuff and then I will go on at 10 and do my thing until 2...what are your opinions on this?

maybe, but i dont think you should give different musical genres time allocations,
they do this at rock city and the like, and sure people get a bit of what they like but once there favourite music genre has passed theyre bored for the rest of the night, itll be cool if you just keep the mixture as u do now

I will be doing the same sort of thing as normal..but my bro will be mainly catering for those kind of scenes...because that is what he has primarily got...and most of what he plays will be the stuff not on mtv etc....plus requests too...
i think you should just get loads of money ants, turn up the juke box and put loads of songs on, when some one asks for a request you can just key in the number and hey presto, no one moaning that you missed thier song out. and you should actually play some more garage, drum and bass and other genres of music [img]smile.gif[/img]
