help from you guitar players on here

how do you guys play prison bound? keep in mind i am just learning so not very good, i am not looking for the lead i couldnt handle that yet

Prison Bound is easy. It's just open chords. Detune 1/2 step (E flat). G, D, Em, C. That's it. Or, to do it like they do live, either use a capo and use the same chord shapes or move everything up 1 whole step: A, E, F#, D.

Yup, tune your guitar flat (down one half step), which holds true for pretty much all of their songs. I prefer their live chord progression of A-E-F#-E-D (those are the chord shapes, they will sound a half step lower of course). I also like the sound of using all power chords rather than open chords, it really makes it sound a lot "tighter."

Check out the acoustic version of Prison Bound. The way Mike changed the strumming is killer.

thanx for the help guys, ive been playing it pretty damn close
knew i could bring my question here thanx again
