I'm new to this but I am a big fan of spawn figures and comics and I'm guessing everybody else is. No idea what a neca is but i'll learn.
What's up with all the spawn chat rooms on this site. It's cool that so many people like him. I really had know idea. And how come some chat rooms are private is that like for the people that make the comics and stuff?
What figure is your favorite? Mine is the big Overtkill from a few years ago. He looks like the art from the comic. My favorite comic is the first one. I have it signed by Todd McFarlane.

NECA is a company with former McFarlane employees. They make alot of movie stuff like McFarlane used to.
The other Spawn board is private because they don't want unknown people going in and starting crap.

How do you guys know so much about toys? I collect mostly spawn, movie figures and star wars, but I usually just see new things at the store and pick them up and don't pay much attention to who made it. I just like things that look cool. It's like everyday I find something new is Christmas.

A good number of us keep up with news from sites such as action-figure.com, figures.com, and other toy-related sites out there. It seems like there's news every day, and we also have a pretty big retailer (killertoys) that keeps us updated on a regular basis.
