The spice girls had the most horrid lyrics i've ever heard.

Billy Bragg may not be the best singer in the world but his lyrics are meaningful and really political. His lyrics are fantastic

In NOFX's The Decline, which is an amazing song;

The first line is "Where do all the stupid people come from?"

whereas there are a lot of really good lyrics in there. I think it just sets the wrong mood for the song.
