Over the years I've owned dozens and dozens of guitars (at one point I had eleven at one time) Here are the ones I currently own.

Left to right... Baritone Ovation (27" Scale neck, round back, active electronics with EQ), Toothpaste Logo Charvel (not one that I've played on stage, but one just like one I owned in the past), and the last guitar I ever built.... A bookmatch topped Mockingbird with George Lynch Neck. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I should point out that I play a VERY unusual stringing and tuning. I tune my instruments to perfect fifths... which means instead of the fifth fret being equal to the next string, it's the SEVENTH fret.

Tunes to FCGDAE instead of EAGDBE... Gives me an extra octave range... and the guages of string step progressivly from a normal unwound 9 all the way up to a 107 bass string.

The Charvel is vintage 80's metal band era. The middle pickup isn't even wired in. Only the EMG SA in the neck and the EMG 85 in the bridge. Of course it has a Floyd Rose trem, but I throw the bars away to keep me from being tempted to play like a wanker. [img]wink.gif[/img]

I've built about a dozen guitars, but many also end up being "baimunized" and disassembled in my closet while being reconfigured.

The neck was custom made by ESP back before George Lynch had his endorsements and custom guitars. It was made exactly to his specs (1 3/4" nut, super huge jumbo frets, reverse explorer headstock) except I had them make it with no inlays.

The body began it's life as a square edge Warmoth body... I contoured the front edge, the fret access, sculpted the back, and slimmed out the neck joint. Seeing as how ALL manufacturers started doing that soon after, I should have patented the idea.

The bridge pickup is an EMG 81 (Heavy Metal pickup) and the middle pickup (when wired) has a coil tap so it can be a second humbucker or a single coil.

Awwww crap.... I just found two more guitars in storage. [img]eek.gif[/img]

One is a Hardtailed Carvin with a set neck... originally came with just a humbucker in the bridge but I routed it out for a single coil in the neck too.

The other one isn't really a guitar... just kindof an "oddity".... It's a primer-only body and neck from Silver Street guitars. It was one of the last pieces left from when they closed the factory here in Elkhart. The two pieces are in a Silver Street hard case... looks like a gun case. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

No pics but I have a white Gibson SG special. The last year they made any in white.

I had a burgundy SG for a while (Looked just like Angus Young's)... but I got rid of it because the headstock was so heavy (and the body so thin and light) that I always felt like I was wrestling the neck to get it up to a comfortable playing position.

Do you wear it really high or really low? It had good tone, but just wasn't comfortable to me.
